A word from Pastor Timothy A. Abbiati
I was saved by Jesus Christ out of drug abuse and alcoholism at the age of 19. From the beginning, I was trained in my faith to serve God with all that I have and all that I am. I have been married to my lovely wife Kristin for over 30 years and together we have six children (plus two kids-in-law), one granddaughter, and two dogs. I was a youth pastor for the first 20 years of my salvation, at three different Rhode Island churches. After a calling from God in 2005, I returned to school and received my Master of Religion from Liberty University. In 2008 I took an Associate Pastor position in El Centro, CA, and in 2010, I became the general manager of a young adult Christian group called Crossfire out of Harrisburg, PA. I returned to Rhode Island in 2012 by taking the pastorate at Calvary Bible Church. As the pastor of what is now Anchor Christian Fellowship, it is my passion to help the Christian individual experience a closer relationship with God as well as seeing souls saved. At ACF we try to balance our unity in the belief of the need of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice alone for salvation with the respect of the individual’s denominational beliefs in all other areas. I hope you would feel comfortable enough to come to a service and try us out…we don’t bite!
